The teaching staff has a decisive role in the education field. It is made up of all the teachers wo teach at the `` Andrei Barseanu Theoretical Highschool`` Tarnaveni and has the its regular meetings due to a planning approved at the beginning of the school year.
The council chairman is by right the highschool principal. Mr. Mago Attila Marton.
he council secretary is appointed by the school principal. In the present school year the scretary position is held by Mrs. Madarasz- Halmaciu Simona.
The componence of the teaching staff council
In the current school year, the teaching staff of the `` Theoretical Highschool Andrei Barseanu`` from Tarnaveni consists of the following memembers( alphabetical order according to school subjects, due to the school curricula).

The teaching staff meets in the following types of meetings:
- meetings for analyzing and approving the learning and the behaving situations of the students
- meetings of the analyzing and assessing of the education institution
- theme meetings to debate issues of interest with the view of developing of the education institution
- meetings of analyzing and assessing of the activities of the staff who require some rewardings according to the law
- special/exceptional meetings with the view of discussing some specific issues( informing, special behaving issues etc.)
The planning and the day order of the Teaching Staff meetings are annually approved according to the principal` s proposal. In addition to the approved planning there can appear changes during the school year due to the given issues within the institution.
